Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

As of this writing, there are still 21 network shows awaiting their fates. Most likely to be canceled? True Lies, Alaska Daily, and pretty much everything at The CW.

Jeremy Renner’s interview with Diane Sawyer aired last night, and his accident was INCREDIBLY HORRIFIC. The words “I could see my eye with my other eye” were said. ~shudder~

Honest Trailers finally got around to tackling The Last of Us, and true to its name, there are no lies detected. SPOILERS ABOUND, GUYS.

As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, Lizzo and Jack Black had cameos in The Mandalorian. She was pretty stoked about the whole thing and said that when she was offered the role, she “cried all day.” Lady, I get it.

I mean, look at these two delightful goofs:

@lizzo

OMG WE IN STAR WARS @jackblack 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Sounds like they’re close to finishing up filming on The Boys season four. GIMME ALREADY.

I hope you are paying attention to what happened in Tennessee yesterday, when the State House of Representatives voted to expel young Black members Justin Jones and Justin Pearson for joining a children’s protest in response to the Nashville school shooting, but did not expel Representative Gloria Johnson, who also joined the protest but also is a 60-year-old white woman.

The entire story is infuriating, frightening, dangerous, and outrageous, but it also did two things: 1. The Republicans overplayed their hand, and turned what should have been at most a censure vote that would have gone unnoticed into a national story that Democrats will not forget come November 2024, and 2. The Republicans have turned these two young men into political superstars. This will not be the last we hear from Justin Jones or Justin Pearson, and it won’t be the last we speak about the gun violence plague that is taking our children’s lives.

Gloria knows what’s up.

Pay. Attention.
