Another French show … Unlike Versailles, however, this isn’t one you can’t passively watch. It is more about emotionally existential questions one imagines would arise if we were able to suddenly prolong the human lifespan, and it is subtitled, dark, so it requires attention.
A cop, who is reluctant to regenerate and finding a new profession (required in the process), investigates the suicide of seven teenagers, while grappling with the decision to be a father. Why would these teenagers, with literal decades, possibly centuries, ahead of them, choose this action? Were they manipulated? Coerced? By whom? Why?
