Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Holding Jamaica in my heart right now.
Paramount is gutting CBS News: 100 staffers have been laid off, including the two hosts of CBS Saturday Morning, Michelle Miller and Dana Jacobson, and correspondents Debora Patta, Nikki Battiste, and Janet Shamlian. Paramount has also canceled the streaming editions of CBS Mornings and the CBS Evening News.
The Pentagon is mad at Netflix again, this time over A House of Dynamite.
Jimmy Kimmel’s contract with Disney/ABC expires in May. So what happens next?
Disney has closed the deal to merge Hulu Live with Fubo, creating the second-largest pay-TV provider.
White Lotus season four will be filmed primarily in the South of France, with a subplot in Paris. Interestingly, HBO did not renew its deal with The Four Seasons, so they are actively scouting hotels at the moment. Bring on the casting news!
I’m sorry, you don’t get to go on The View while married to one of the most controversial people in the most controversial Presidential cabinets in the history of this country, and then get mad when they ask you about him. Have you seen the show, Cheryl?
Oh, and she and Larry David aren’t exactly on speaking terms right now. GEE WHY?
Honestly, I’m shocked there haven’t been a thousand pieces floating around demanding a George Clooney guest role on The Pitt. (I hope I didn’t just give the entertainment press an idea …)
Dr. Phil lost his bankruptcy case. Oh well.
Need a last-minute Halloween costume idea?
CNN has dug up some old Anthony Bourdain content for its streaming service.
