Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
HBO Max is coming for your shared password.
The Skydance/Paramount merger is officially a done deal.
“Fuck you, you roadkill-munching, luddite, human Slim Jim. You’re gonna kill people,”
Dean Cain says he’s going to join the secret police ICE. People are responding about how you would expect.
Speaking of ICE, South Park is not letting off the gas.
There are rumors that Howard Stern might retire, so of course President Dementia started yammering about Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon being canceled. Anyway, this is a good time to remind you that on Howard Stern’s show, President In the Epstein Files allowed Stern to call Ivanka a “piece of ass,” bragged about barging into pageant dressing rooms, and admitted to thinking a 12-year-old Paris Hilton was beautiful among all manner of other offensive things.
Feel better, Camilla Luddington.
OK, so I put the story that Logan Marshall-Green has joined Y: Marshals in yesterday’s casting news, but this morning I was genuinely bewildered why this story about the casting called him a “breakout star from And Just Like That …: instead of what I would have thought was his much more prestigious role, starring in Shōgun. Because I was CONVINCED they were one and the same. And to my credit, Logan Marshall-Green recently made news by replacing the actual star of Shōgun, Cosmo Jarvis, in Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of The Odyssey, PROBABLY BECAUSE THEY LOOK SO MUCH ALIKE. I’m not crazy, right? This looks like the same person, RIGHT?
AND DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE WHOLE TOM HARDY OF IT ALL. All I’m saying is we’ve never seen all three of these men in the same room together:
