Three networks series were renewed last week, so I’ve updated my big renewal/cancelation gallery over at Chron.com. No one can accuse me of not being servicey.
Watchmen is not coming back, y’all. I mean, technically it still could. But it probably isn’t. Anyway, I look forward to it sweeping the limited series category at the Emmys this year and will RIOT if it does not.
The Friends reunion is happening to no one’s surprise. And I know people really seem to care but isn’t what they really want is a Friends sequel?
“Mad” Mike Hughes, a flat-earther and daredevil, died this weekend when his homemade steam-powered rocket crashed soon after launching. What I hadn’t known until this morning was that the launch was being filmed by the Science Channel for a show called Homemade Astronauts, which just seems WILDLY IRRESPONSIBLE and maybe should be canceled before any other anti-science idiots die.
72 hours. That’s roughly how much time a Bachelor/Bachelorette spends with the person they get “engaged” to before the big proposal. 72 HOURS. That is not a lot of hours, you guys.

Just a reminder of last week when Elizabeth Warren tore open Michael Bloomberg’s chest over non-disclosure agreements his company has forced some unknown number of women to sign. That was delicious. Bloomberg has since said he would release three women from their NDAs. OK.

- Yellowstone has been renewed for a fourth season at Paramount.

- The Chair, a dramedy about a college professor from Amanda Peet, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, and starring Sandra Oh and Jay Duplass, has been ordered at Netflix.
- There is a PAW Patrol movie in the works.
- Micro Mayhem has been greenlit at Quibi.
- Taylor Sheridan has signed an overall deal with ViacomCBS.

- Skeet Ulrich and Marisol Nichols are both leaving Riverdale at the end of the season.
- Julia Roberts, Sean Penn, Armie Hammer, and Joel Edgerton will star in Gaslit, a series about Watergate.
- Ed Helms and Randall Park are going to co-host the NBC series True Story.
- Chris Harrison and Sage Steele will host Volcano Live! with Nik Wallenda on ABC.
