Stephen Colbert was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night. And while he doesn’t miss doing late night — he compared it to drinking a cup of poison every day —  he hopes it continues because it’s important. 

When asked if anyone from CBS called to congratulate Colbert on his Emmy, he pulled a Mariah Carey.

And in a very symbolic gesture, Colbert gifted Kimmel the Captain America shield that hung on his The Colbert Report and Late Show sets for 20 years.

Obviously, this DOJ is siding with Paramount. That’s the whole point.

The one good thing that came from all of this is the introduction (at least to me) of Ohio Congresswoman Joyce Beatty, who has refused to step down from The Kennedy Center board, and has been the one person pushing back on this monster’s intentions.
