Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Alright, we’re up to the Lead Acting categories: please tell me who you think will win in Comedy, Drama, and Limited Series:

Speaking of the Emmys, they have announced the first set of presenters, which will include a Buffy reunion, as well as a Charlie’s Angels and Schitt’s Creek reunion.

Jimmy Kimmel revealed last night that he will have an interview with Texas Senate candidate James Talarico tonight but, like Stephen Colbert before him, he will be forced to keep the interview on the show’s YouTube channel because of the fucking FCC. Totally normal times; everything is totally cool.

And you know what? That Colbert interview is probably what got Talarico the nomination, so yeah, you’re going to see that interview embedded right here tomorrow, trust. They wouldn’t be trying to hide him if they were so scared of him.

In other Kimmel news, he will be broadcasting from Brooklyn again later this month.

Paradise, Shrinking, and Washington Black took home prizes from the Humanitas Prizes last night.

The Supreme Court is suddenly getting involved in this fight between the states and the Paramount merger. It might not make much of a difference, ultimately, but it is interesting to see them show up.

The idea that two of the famously nicest men in Hollywood have beef is one of the most mind-boggling things to me.

I’m sure you already suspect this, but yes, your TV is spying on you, and on your other devices that are connected to the same wi-fi.

They’re making a stage version of the U.K. Traitors? And Nick Mohammed (Nate from Ted Lasso) will play the Claudia Winkleman host role? What is happening?

And how is this the first time I’m hearing of the Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody that has done so well Off Broadway that they are extending its run? (That said, I went to the Paranormal Activity Broadway show the other day, and … it was great fun, you guys. If you’re in New York and a horror fan, it’s worth it.)

Have you seen that now-viral NSFW clip of Andrew Scott? If you know, you know (and if you don’t know … I would advise you to literally not watch it at work). Here’s everything you need to know about the British series it’s from, not that we’re going to be seeing it anytime soon here in the States.

MS Now is really trying to make this paid membership thing happen.

Are we SURE Harry Enten isn’t being paid on the side by Coke?

Jessica Tarlov has signed up to do the Lord’s work on Fox News for another three years.

Fox News continues to be the most-watched cable news network, alas, but its viewership is slipping in all the core numbers. Oh no.

I’m not sure who is still invested in Brandi Glanville’s health journey, but for those of you out there …

Can you hear that? It’s the sound of the world’s tiniest violin …

All the worst people are making ads for the worst apps. Dammit, LeBron, not you, too.

They are so desperate to win the midterms that President Grifter is now promising $5,000 to every American if the Republicans win in November. Not only is this a total scam (whatever happened to those DOGE checks? what about those tariff checks?), but it’s also completely illegal! So do me a favor and check your voter registration below and make a plan to vote early, and if possible, in person.

If you are in Texas, you can check your registration here. (And be sure to check a few more times before October 5th, as they intend to keep purging.)

If you are anywhere else in the country, check your registration here.
