Apparently, the President of the United States making a disgusting and callous statement about the horrific murder of a beloved director and actor is a bridge too far for a lot of people (even people who had no problem with him being a racist, misogynistic, ableist, veteran-hating con artist piece of shit). CNN’s Scott Jennings didn’t try to defend it; conservative actor James Woods called President ShitKnuckles’ comments “infuriating and distasteful”; wrestler Mick Foley severed his ties with WWE for their relationship with the embarrassment in the Oval Office; Stephen Smith said, “The President choosing to comment on their passing in a disrespectful, acerbic, and disgusting manner is beneath the office of the presidency,”; and even MAGAites on Truth Social called him out for it.

Less surprisingly, all of Hollywood was also furious with President Rotting Hand.

Seth Meyers remembered Reiner in a seven-minute tribute and touched on President Dementia’s comments:

“I feared this was something he was going to do, and I was pretty certain that it would cast a shadow on what was already a really dark day, but it was even worse than I could imagine. The president made it about himself because he’s incapable of making it about anything else.”
