Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Will there be a second season of Adolescence? Probably — Netflix isn’t one to leave money on the table, after all. But if there is one, anticipate it being a whole new story and cast of characters.

I finally binged it yesterday, and can confirm that Adolescence is one of the best shows of the year. Yes, it’s only March, but I’m calling it now: this series is going to win most of the limited series Emmys. This Collider piece outlines the six reasons why the show is so good, and I couldn’t agree more that the third episode is one of the best episodes of television I’ve ever seen. It’s going to stay with me for a long while.

A Chili’s in Scranton (or near Scranton) is finally doing the most obvious thing in the world: opening a restaurant that pays tribute to The Office:

The restaurant will be decorated as it would have been in the mid-2000s with old signs and chalkboard art. It will also feature direct nods to the show’s fictitious paper company, Dunder Mifflin. In one episode, Scott, played by Steve Carell, orders an awesome blossom — a deep-fried onion with a cheese dipping sauce — while trying to win a new client over lunch at Chili’s. That item, long struck from the Chili’s menu nationwide, is being reintroduced in the Scranton-area restaurant only.

In another universe somewhere, there are spinoff series for Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy.

The monkeys are innocent.

Lisa Rinna is blaming you for being fired from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Yes, you.

Bringing two universes together:

Kelly Clarkson had no idea she was auditioning for a television show when she first auditioned for American Idol.

After Tyler Cameron posted a video on Instagram lifting up Litia Garr, the runner-up on Grant Ellis’ season of The Bachelor, Ellis unfollowed Cameron. LOL.

@tylerjcameron3

Replying to @lena lombardi didn’t know how to wrap it up, should of left it at Litias iconic “come on now”

How important are sports to streaming customers? Not very, apparently.

The third Downton Abbey movie has a title and makes a promise.

Netflix is no longer making those weird “story” games.

Corey Feldman is out here fantasizing that he could have had Leonardo DiCaprio’s career. In no way am I defending Johnny Depp; but sweetie, no.

Not content with removing Looney Tunes from Max, Warner Bros. is now literally tearing down the Looney Tunes building on the historic Warner Bros. lot.

Sundance Film Festival is moving to Boulder, Colorado.

This isn’t TV related but don’t care: Yolanda Saldivar was denied parole; which, honestly, Yolanda, it’s in your best interest to stay behind bars.
