Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
To celebrate the show’s 10th anniversary, President Biden visited Late Night with Seth Meyers last night, and he addressed the “age” issue:
“All jokes aside, according to recent polling, this is a real concern for American voters,” Meyers noted.
“Number one, you got to take a look at the other guy, he’s about as old as I, but he can’t remember his wife’s name,” Biden responded.
Biden was referring to Donald Trump’s reference to wife Melania as “Mercedes” in a recent speech.
“Number two, it’s about how old your ideas are,” Biden said. “Look, I mean, this is a guy who wants to take us back. He wants to take us back on Roe v. Wade. He wants to take us back on a whole range of issues. After 50, 60 years they have been solid American positions.”
Don Lemon was paid $24.5 million to go away.
The list of celebrities who declined to be in Jennifer Lopez’s vanity project This Is Me … Now is cracking me up. Absolutely, J Lo, the only reason Taylor Swift didn’t participate was because she was on tour. Tell yourself what you need to, ma’am.
Kieran Culkin’s wife Jazz is Team Pedro Pascal in her husband’s feud with him.
Joe Manganiello’s girlfriend, Caitlin O’Connor posted some pictures from the makeup room at The Today Show, and … yeah, I mean, it’s not glamorous, but I’m not sure it’s worth having a meltdown over it, either. It’s a workplace, Kelly Rowland.
Heads up: if you’re paying for Netflix using Apple iTunes, you’re going to need to make some adjustments.
Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount will not be joining their sinking ships after all.
#MeToo
Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sued for a fifth time by music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones who has accused Combs of sexually assaulting him, drugging him, pressuring him to have sex with female sex workers and other men, passing him off to Cuba Gooding Jr. who fondled him against his consent, and making him buy drugs and hire sex workers. He also accuses Combs of being involved in a shooting. It’s A LOT.
Brandi Glanville’s lawyers sent a letter to NBCUniversal accusing Andy Cohen of sexually harassing her, and demanding that he be fired. According to Glanville’s lawyers in 2022, “an ‘inebriated’ Cohen sent her a video message stating of ‘his intention to sleep with another Bravo star that night while thinking of her and invited her to watch via Facetime.’”
Andy Cohen put out a public apology on Twitter:
The video shows Kate Chastain and I very clearly joking to Brandi. It was absolutely meant in jest, and Brandi’s response clearly communicated she was in on the joke. That said, it was totally inappropriate and I apologize.
— Andy Cohen (@Andy) February 23, 2024
However, Glanville is not satisfied with this apology:
I have not received a personal apology from anyone. I saw an apology that Andy posted TO HIS FANS for his mistreatment of me and inappropriateness.
— Brandi Glanville (@BrandiGlanville) February 26, 2024
Basically, this is a circular firing squad going back to the lawsuit Caroline Manzo has brought against the Bravo producers, alleging that Glanville sexually assaulted her while filming Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip season five. Not sure why Glanville is turning against Cohen when she herself wasn’t sued by Manzo, but there must be something going on behind the scenes.
A third woman has accused Nigel Lythgoe of sexual assault.
A sexual assault lawsuit against Steven Tyler about an incident that took place in 1975 has been thrown out.
Oh look, it’s yet another old man who doesn’t approve of intimacy coordinators. How novel.
Home Alone actor Devin Ratray pleaded guilty to two counts of domestic violence.
Koichiro Ito, a Japanese anime producer, has been arrested for soliciting child pornography.
The BBC gives a non-apology apology for asking Andrew Scott about Barry Keoghan’s penis on a red carpet and, I mean, COME ON, GUYS.
