Did we just learn when ‘Abbott Elementary’ might end?

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Oh, we’re going to talk Widow’s Bay, but not until next week so everyone can catch up and watch the finale. But get ready!

As noted under “IN DEVELOPMENT,” Quinta Brunson has just signed a deal with Disney. But interestingly, the deal might also give a hint as to how long Abbott Elementary will continue. According to this ScreenRant piece, it notes that she has an eight-year acting deal for Abbott Elementary. This fall will see the premiere of season six on ABC, so it’s sounding like the series might run through season eight.

Now, this piece also notes that this is only an acting deal associated with Brunson — she has agreed to continue on as a producer for the duration of the series. So theoretically, she could leave the series as an actor, and the show could continue without Janine. But that seems highly unlikely.

Give Megan Stalter a Hacks spinoff, you cowards.

Emmy-winners Liza Colón-Zayas and Jeff Hiller will announce the Emmy nominees on July 8.

Andy and Anderson will be trading the tequila shots for beer for their upcoming July 3rd special on CNN and honestly, I’m not sure that’s a great idea unless they’re looking for a very gassy night.

If you’ve been waiting to subscribe to HBO Max, now’s the time to do it.

Jay Leno thinks late-night is dying because they run too many ads. I mean, that’s the entire case with network television in general, so I don’t think that’s exactly it, Jay. Also, let’s not be comparing Joe Rogan to Johnny Carson, my dude.

We all needed this World Cup international sleepover more than anyone realized.

Speaking of the World Cup, these two clearly haven’t received the memo that this is supposed to be a love fest.

Ah, there’s the Ted Cruz I know and loathe.

President Appeaser is SO MAD the media is accurately reporting on his very bad deal with Iran.

I’m very glad Lil Nas is doing better. Stay healthy!
