Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

My new best friend, George R.R. Martin, gave a big interview to The Hollywood Reporter, where he revealed a few interesting things:

They are in very early development on an Arya series set in Essos.
The scrapped Jon Snow series would have been about Snow having PTSD, and having chased off Ghost and tossed Longclaw, but everyone thought that was too depressing BECAUSE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN.
Martin’s relationship with House of the Dragon‘s showrunner Ryan Condal is “abysmal.” So much so, HBO asked Martin to step away from giving input on season three.
While he wants to finish The Winds of Winter, he admits he’s also kinda tired of the world of “Ice and Fire.”
His ending of Game of Thrones is much different than the show, and characters that are alive in the show won’t be in his books and vice versa. Spoiler-ish: Tyrion is not going to have a happy ending, though he may allow Sansa to survive because he liked how her story turned out.

I wish George the best, but also wish he would just finish the damn books already. And the next time I’m in Santa Fe, I’m getting a drink at the Milk of the Poppy.

Chris Noth is now trying to act like he didn’t want the attention his nasty Instagram comment about Sarah Jessica Parker received. Whatever, Chris. Go back into obscurity, buddy.

For my fellow Gen X babies, allow me to introduce you to MTV Rewind, a website that allows you to watch random MTV videos via a searchable archive. You can watch videos from the 90s, or from 120 Minutes, or YO! MTV Raps, or Live Aid … and on and on. It’s brilliant. (H/T BoingBoing)
