Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Sarah Michelle Gellar posted about the potential Buffy revival on her Instagram page, and you should read her comment for yourself:

But additionally, check out some of the comments from a couple of the Scoobies:

Damn straight, Charisma Carpenter. Couldn’t say it better myself.

If you were wondering where they film Severance (and honestly, I was), here’s a locations list. It’s mostly a lot of Upstate New York and some New Jersey.

Apparently, Sarah Jessica Parker is hurt when people don’t like Carrie, but, girl, have you met Carrie? She’s AWFUL.

This is a whole article about how The Bachelor has discriminatory casting practices — not because they are sizeist or ageist or racist, but because they won’t cast people from Quebec. They will cast folks from all over the rest of Canada, just not Quebec. And honestly? I think that’s pretty hilarious.

GIRL, NO. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF SHE HAS FRIENDS? WILL SOMEONE PLEASE STEP IN AND STOP HER?

If you want a sneak peek of the Super Bowl ads, I’ve got you covered. (I don’t necessarily agree with the ranking of the ads, I just found it an accessible source of all the ads.)

Grey’s Anatomy is never going to end.

I don’t know how many times Hollywood needs to learn the lesson that people want to see stories about people who look like them. Why is this so difficult to grasp?

A.I. is a scourge.

I don’t think Lisa Vanderpump is returning to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills — unless this is all a long con to bring her back in a big flashy way.

Will Forte is super pissed about Coyote vs. Acme being pulled by Warner Bros. Discovery:

“My thoughts were that it’s f–king bulls–t. It is such a delightful movie. It deserves so much better than it got,” he told the outlet. “I can’t tell you possibly why the decision was made to not release it. But it makes my blood boil.”

Forte continued: “Thank you for asking me about it because I like talking about the movie because I don’t want people to forget what [Warner Bros. Discovery] did to this. I appreciate them letting us make it, but don’t let us make this thing that we fall in love with and then not show it. I would understand if the thing sucked, but it’s really good. Maybe somehow we get to see it at some point. I hope people do. I was really proud of it.”

Warner Bros. Discovery has put a bunch of movies up on YouTube. (But not Coyote vs. Acme.)

Love is dead.

Today was Andrea Mitchell’s last day on MSNBC, and they gave her a lovely and appropriate sendoff. (She’s driven me a little crazy in the last few years with her bothsidesism, but she was a pioneer and deserving of respect.) Everyone wants the network to give her spot to Jim Acosta because duh.

PolUGHtics

I know Paramount will probably settle with President Free Speech to make their headache go away, but it is a terrifying trend.

“Appeasing Trump may make practical sense for chief executives obligated to maximize profits and protect shareholders’ interests. But doing so represents a historical retreat, said Sonja West, a University of Georgia law professor who specializes in First Amendment issues. For decades, she told me, confident (and well-heeled) news organizations fought vigorous legal battles to protect their rights and to defend their reporting. Nowadays, however, the news industry isn’t so confident or so well-heeled. ‘What we’re seeing today is a concerning shift in that dynamic,” she said. Paying off the president to settle his meritless claims is a losing strategy, and will only invite more of the same, she suggested. ‘Our democracy depends on the press to serve as a check on powerful people,’ West said, ‘not just to cut them checks for millions of dollars.'”

And because he can, now he’s screaming that Washington Post writer Eugene Robinson be fired. And the real President is calling for a Wall Street Journalist to be fired. I used to not worry about such tantrums, but things have … shifted. And not in a good way.

Least important part of this but they know Sauron is the villain who loses, right?
