According to Brian Stelter, there has been more than one billionaire with “liberal bonafides” who has expressed interest in buying MSNBC and saving it from Elon Musk — who is still out there teasing he might buy it. And can I just say I hate this timeline where we have to be dependent on FUCKING BILLIONAIRES to save us? Anyway, Comcast says MSNBC is not for sale. Yet.
Peacock is offering an ad-supported year for $19.99 for Black Friday, which is a hefty 75% discount.
Law & Order: Organized Crime has just lost its FIFTH showrunner. What the hell is going on over there?
Jenna Bush Hager out here shading Kathie Lee.
Y’all need to back off Kelly Ripa, she was just reading an article. You think that woman has any idea what the difference is between stuffing and dressing? DO YOU THINK SHE HAS EVER EATEN A CARB? Grow up.
Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval’s lounge, Schwartz & Sandy’s, is closing after two years. GEE, WHY?
Hugh Grant isn’t calling Countess Luann a liar, exactly. But he is suggesting that making out with her is an unmemorable event.
#MeToo
Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sued by five more plaintiffs claiming he sexually assaulted them, including one 17-year-old.
Curiously, the Houston lawyer representing these plaintiffs against Combs, Tony Buzbee, has himself been sued for assault recently by a former client, claiming he shoved a champagne flute in her face. Now. I’m not here to defend Tony Buzbee, the guy’s an asshole, but the timing here seems … interesting.
Conor McGregor was found liable for sexual assault in the civil case against him, and ordered to pay $250,000. He plans to appeal.
Jenn An, a former America’s Next Top Model contestant, is suing Kanye West, Interscope, and Universal Music Group for “gender-motivated violence” based on an incident while filming a music video. And not to diminish the violence done to her, but the fact that this asshole yelled “This is art. This is f**king art. I am like Picasso,” after doing this to her? Give her all the damages. She’s also suing Universal Music Group who she claims “systematically discriminates against women, by continuing to work with artists with well-documented histories of sexual harassment and discrimination.”
Over in MAGA world, some updates on the cabinet nominees with sexual abuse charges against them:
- The nanny who has accused Robert F. Kennedy Jr. of molesting her has opened up about her experience.
- The police report that was filed following the Pete Hegseth incident has been released. It’s pretty damning.
- Matt Gaetz, who is no longer in the running for Attorney General, thank God, had sex with a 17-year-old girl, and paid (at least) two women to have sex with him, before taking them to a performance of Pretty Woman, and I’m not even kidding.
Cher has revealed in her new memoir that Sony Bono took advantage of her financially and emotionally (not to mention that she was 16 when she met him and he was 27) in their marriage.
Grace Jabbari, Jonathan Majors’s ex-girlfriend, has dropped her defamation, assault, and battery lawsuit against him. Between this — which sounds like a settlement happened — and his recent marriage, someone is clearly working hard to clean up his image.
