Let’s talk about Teresa Giudice and her $10,000 wedding hair, per favore.

Did you know that sea lions can laugh and have a sense of humor? Sound on:

A quick update on my TV Madness Foolishness tournament. Y’all have until the end of the week to add suggestions for the Reader Suggestions category. Beginning next week, I’ll create a poll of all the suggestions, and you will have one week to vote on your top choices.

The top 12 from this poll will comprise the Reader Suggestion category in the TV Foolishness tournament, ultimately competing against New Fall TV Shows; Classic Shows I Should Have Recapped, but Didn’t; and Shows I Began Recapping, and Then Gave Up On, Including Hate Blogs. TV Foolishness voting will begin on August 28, and we will determine a winner by September 15.

Y’all have made some amazing suggestions so far! I’m excited!

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Congratulations to Teresa Giudice, Luis Ruelas, and her hair.

Her wedding hair cost $10,000. She spent $10,000 for her hair to look like that.

Meanwhile, Joe and Melissa weren’t in attendance.

The Television Critics Association Awards were this weekend, and if it serves as an accurate Emmy prediction, Abbott Elementary is going to do really well. (That said, the TCAs had the good sense to nominate Mandy Moore for her work in This Is Us, and Legendary in reality programming, so they were already ahead of the Emmy nominations.)

They’re gearing up for the premiere of House of the Dragon: if you happen to be in London in the next couple of weeks, you can find the Iron Throne outside The Tower of London. The Tower also happens to have some very cool ravens, but that’s just a happy coincidence, and has nothing to do with the Game of Thrones universe.

Scott Gimple has confirmed that the Daryl Walking Dead spinoff will take place in France, as suspected. The show filming in Europe was the reason Melissa McBride dropped out of the series.

If you watched the second season finale of my beloved FBoy Island, you know that it was bonkers. Don’t click the link unless you’ve watched, here be spoilers.

Mike Tyson is really mad about Hulu’s upcoming series about him:

Peter Jackson was originally approached to work on Amazon’s Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, but then Tolkien’s estate didn’t want him involved, and Amazon ghosted him.

Rosario Dawson apparently has no idea what she’s talking about.

No one is playing Netflix’s games. 🙁

Days of Our Lives‘ director Scott McKinsey explained to the show’s fans in a Facebook post that moving to Peacock is probably what saved the soap opera from being canceled and has some suggestions on moving entirely to streaming:

I mean, he’s not wrong.

Rachel Maddow has nothing but kind things to say about Tucker Carlson. And apparently, her first job at MSNBC was working on his show. Goes to show, you don’t know what you don’t know.

Love is definitely dead.

Congratulations to Abbi Jacobson and Jodi Balfour! Maybe love isn’t dead after all!

Here’s hoping that Anne Heche recovers quickly, and receives whatever help she may need.
