So, who is going to replace Chris Matthews at the 6/7 p.m. hour on MSNBC? For now, poor overworked Steve Kornacki, who hasn’t had any sleep in WEEKS, will fill in for Matthews while MSNBC figures it out. There are arguments for giving Kornacki the hour, but there are other contenders, including Nicole Wallace, Joy Reid, Katy Tur, and Ari Melber. And, of course, there is always the Shep Smith option. - The Bachelorette will not be filming in Italy, after having planned to do.
- A Dwayne Johnson movie, Red Notice, and the next Mission Impossible movie have canceled plans to film on location in Italy.
- Disney has canceled a Disney+ European launch event.
- Fox has pulled out of the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference where Lachlan Murdoch was scheduled to make a presentation.
- Google canceled its Google I/O developer conference.
- And Sony has closed offices in London, Paris, and Poland.
