Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Saidah Belo-Osagie and Grace Reiter have been added to the cast of Saturday Night Live on NBC. It also seems that Ashley Padilla and Jane Wickline have been promoted to Repertory Players. The only losses from this season appear to be Chloe Fineman and Martin Herlihy (who I am still bummed about).

Madonna will perform the opening number for the VMAs, her first live performance in 23 years.

Julia Stiles is on Dancing With the Stars out of spite towards Andy Cohen specifically, and he is really sorry.

Taylor Swift brought cookies to the Law & Order: SVU set when she filmed that bit for the Emmys.

Whoopi Goldberg is going to miss some episodes of The View, so now you know, and you don’t have to be weird about it like when Sarah Haines missed yesterday’s episode.

Someone at ABC wasn’t manning the bleeping button last night.

Amy Poehler made Robert DeNiro cry on her podcast.

Roku is now offering its own premium bundles.

Good for you. Gillian Anderson. Live your truth, lady.

Congratulations, Lena Dunham and Luis Felber!

Get better soon, Katya!

Congratulations, Phoebe Dynevor and Cameron Fuller!

Love is still dead.

Paramount is now playing chicken with California, threatening that they are going to leave- NO, REALLY, YOU GUYS. It should be noted, they were supposed to release a formal statement yesterday, but none was forthcoming. Still, they’re playing footsie with Texas, and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is taking it seriously.

Speaking of temper tantrums, President Fartmaster is now threatening to tear down The Kennedy Center because he can’t put his stupid name on it. As you might imagine, the Kennedys are not amused by any of these shenanigans.

Oh, and no reason, but have you checked your voter registration?

If you are in Texas, you can check your registration here. (And be sure to check a few more times before October 5th, as they intend to keep purging.)

If you are anywhere else in the country, check your registration here.
