The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences will honor Genie Francis with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Daytime Emmys, and it is well deserved.

Taylor Frankie Paul gave away the ending of her season of The Bachelorette, all but confirming that ABC will never air it. I could still see a universe in which Hulu streams it at some point, but ABC is going to wash their hands of it and her. Anyway, Doug Mason proposed, she said yes, and then promptly dumped him for her toxic ex.

I have no idea what to think of the “Meghan Markle joins The Gentlemen” story now, to be honest with you.

Prime Video has upgraded their Ad Free tier to “Ultra,” whether you like it or not.

The AV Club makes an interesting argument that prestige TV is now using the third episode to be its most experimental, following this week’s installment of Lanterns (which was excellent — if you’re not watching, you should be).
