The Empire State Building couple was in a Netflix documentary, which apparently didn’t satisfy their need for attention because here we are.

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

So there was a little excitement in New York yesterday when two people climbed to the tippy-top of the Empire State Building and unfurled a banner that read: “When the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace.” Then, they climbed down to a platform where they appeared to get engaged. Turns out, the couple was Ivan “Vanya” Beerkus and Angela Nikolau, stars of the Netflix documentary, Skywalkers: A Love Story. I guess they like attention because they sure got a lot of it. They were arrested by the NYPD and face charges this morning.

Honestly, the visuals from this stunt make me want to go lie down.

A former Bachelor producer who may or may not have had an inappropriate relationship with Pilot Peter has written a book in which she claims, among other things, that the show briefly considered making her The Bachelorette before coming to their damn senses.

People Magazine just listed their most iconic soap opera wedding dresses, and for the most part, I don’t have any beef, but it is remarkable that Erica Kane only gets two spots, considering she got married some 11 times.

President Attention Whore is threatening to give a long speech on July 4, despite the temperature potentially being well over 100 degrees, to which I say:

Meanwhile, America’s mayor, Zohran Mamdani, will also be giving a speech on that day in front of the George Washington desk in New York City’s City Hall, while surrounded by naturalized citizens. I know which one I’ll be paying attention to.

You can also spend the next couple of days obsessing over Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Madison Square Garden wedding. God knows the media is. (But to their credit, no one in this couple climbed up a building to get the world to pay attention to them.)

You could also spend the Fourth of July weekend rewatching the second season of The Pitt, which is set … on July 4th.

Feel better soon, Clint Black!

Actor Aaron Lazar’s family has created a GoFundMe to help cover his medical costs after being diagnosed with ALS. My thoughts to Lazar and his family. And fuck ALS.

And while we’re on the topic of ALS, some football players are bringing back the Ice Bucket Challenge to raise money and awareness of the disease in support of Chris Johnson. But seriously, fuck ALS.

Love is dead.
