I want to start this post by expressing my sadness and frankly, despondency, at there being yet another school shooting in this country. This cycle of violence and our complete refusal to do anything about it has caused me to lose a lot of my faith in who we are as a country (a faith that was further squashed when we re-elected a convicted felon and insurrectionist in November). My heart goes out to the families of the victims, the first responders, the school, the city, the entire community, and to the activists who continue to work to stop gun violence despite every appearance that nothing will ever change. Keep up the fight, even when it feels hopeless.
Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Wait, the guys who hit Jamie Foxx with a glass was the Jackass crew? Dudes, not cool.
Brian Cox just keeps shitting on Jeremy Strong’s acting process. CAN’T STOP WON’T STOP.
George Stephanopoulos deleted his Twitter account and who could possibly blame him?
Listen: just because a series finale had really high ratings does not mean it “proves it shouldn’t be canceled.” It just means a lot of people tuned in to see how a beloved show ended.
Can we not start talking about a Suits movie until the new Suits show gets off the ground and we see how that does? Thanks.
That dramatic rescue of a Syrian prisoner by CNN took a twist worthy of a Netflix political drama.
Everything I learn about Candace Cameron Bure is against my will.
Popular opinion: NO THEY DON’T.
I don’t mean to alarm you, but you’re running out of time to buy those Christmas gifts. Here’s how to give the gift of streaming, if you’re so inclined (and no trips to the Galleria!)
#MeToo
DJ James Kennedy formerly from Vanderpump Rules is this week’s main character: Kennedy was arrested for domestic violence last week. Hours earlier, Kennedy was allegedly behaving erratically at Kathy Hilton’s holiday party. His Las Vegas residency has been canceled in the meantime.

Three more John Does have filed suit against Sean Combs, claiming he drugged them and sexually assaulted them.
One of the men accusing Sean Combs of assaulting him gave an anonymous interview with CNN last week, and now his allegations are coming under question as the interview contained a number of inconsistencies.
Similarly, the woman who has accused Sean Combs and Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter of raping her when she was 13 years old has admitted there are some inconsistencies in her story, but stands by her allegations. Carter’s lawyers are advocating to have the lawsuit thrown out.
Meanwhile, Will Smith would appreciate it if you left him out of this altogether, thankyouverymuch.
Paula Abdul and Nigel Lythgoe have reached a settlement in her lawsuit against him alleging sexual assault.
British actor Alexander Westwood has been found guilty of 26 sex offenses, including crimes against children.
Danny Masterson’s attorneys will be investigated for inappropriately reaching out to jurors on his rape case (which the exact kind of bullshit Scientologists pull).
Florence Pugh has opened up about how “exhausting” it is to be a woman in the world this industry.
