The Piers Morgan interview with Fiona Harvey, “The Real Martha” of Baby Reindeer, went about as well as could be expected. Among other things, Harvey’s threatening to sue Netflix, Richard Gadd, and The Daily Mail, claiming that she did not send Gadd thousands of emails and voice mails — but claimed that if Gadd did have voice mails of her, it’s because he secretly recorded her at the pub, complained about Jessica Gunning’s Scottish accent and conceded that she did have a reindeer toy as a child.
Meanwhile, Richard Gadd is shocked at the popularity of the series, believing that it would have just been “a little cult artistic gem” instead of the most popular series on Netflix. WHOOPS.
