Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Before we get to the TV crap, I want to note how furious and heartbroken I am about the mass shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs victory parade. There’s something insidiously American about it: we can’t even celebrate our national sport without gun violence breaking out, in large part because of our unhealthy relationship with guns, and our insistence on lax gun laws in some corners of this country. I’m sick for the kids who were injured and separated from their families in the panic, I’m heartbroken for the family of the woman who lost her life, and I am forlorn that despite the violence and trauma, nothing will change. All I can think to do is plead with you to vote in November: it doesn’t seem like much, but the best thing to bring to a gunfight is your vote.

The Ron Livingston dramedy, Loudermilk, which came out on the now defunct Audience network back in 2017, has found a whole new audience on Netflix, and might earn a fourth season.

Look out, CNN anchors: they’re coming for your (incredible) salaries.

So remember how I told you that the director of the remake of Road House, Doug Liman, is SO ANGRY that the film isn’t being released in theaters, only to Prime Video and blah blah blah? Yeah, well, it’s been revealed that Amazon/MGM gave the producers (and presumably Liman) a choice: release it in theaters with a $60 million budget or release it on Prime Video with an $85 million budget. Guess which deal everyone took?

Stranger Things fans have some requests for season five: namely, give Will a new haircut.

And The Rings of Power will be darker in the coming second season.

The Good Bones dramaz continue even after the show ended.

That time Bryan Cranston was wanted for murder.
