Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

In honor of the Gen V season finale that will premiere (late) tonight, here are a bunch of Supernatural easter eggs sprinkled through The Boys and Gen V. And it’s more than just Jensen, Jim Beaver, Alexander Calvert, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (eventually) being in the casts.

Today is the 20th anniversary of the premiere of possibly the greatest television sitcom of all time: Arrested Development, and, by extension, George Michael’s 33rd birthday. Sorry to age you.

If we can get the actors and studios to get their shit together and make a deal, production on Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will begin early next year at HBO.

No word on a renewal for Our Flag Means Death just yet. Guess I need to get around to streaming season two already.

HBO is really not worried about becoming the next Marvel and boring everyone with their endless franchise machine.

Disney will pay Comcast $8.61 billion to be the sole owner of Hulu. What this means for Hulu’s future? Unclear.

Renewals

Futurama has been renewed for two more seasons on Hulu.
Euphoria has indeed been renewed for a third season on HBO.
The Tiny Chef Show has been renewed for a second season on Nickelodeon.

Cancellations

Letterkenny will end with season 12 on Hulu.

In Development

The Jinx – Part Two is in development at HBO.
1944, another prequel series to Yellowstone, has been ordered at Paramount Network.
Prison Break is being rebooted at Hulu.
Second Chance Stage; Human vs Hamster; Back to the Frontier; and Roller Jam have been ordered at the Magnolia Network on Max.
A Dance Moms reunion is coming to Lifetime.
There is another John Wick universe TV series in the works.
The Kino Film Collection is now available to stream on Prime Video for an additional subscription cost.
The untitled Ana DuVernay drama starring Joshua Jackson and Lauren Ridloff, is no longer going forward at Starz.

Casting News

Comedian Taylor Tomlinson will be the host of CBS’s new late-late show, After Midnight. You can check out her stand-up in her two Netflix specials: Quarter-Life Crisis and Look At You.
