This story is magic. Literally.

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Abbott Elementary is out here predicting the future. In the most recent episode, Gregory tells another character that in a Baltimore Orioles game, “Adley Rutschman hit an opposite-field walk-off homer and Cedric Mullins was a single shy of the cycle.” And then less than 24 hours later that (almost) exact thing happened. What??
This is interesting: NBC renewed all of Dick Wolff’s Chicago and Law & Order series, BUT — the number of episodes per season are being cut. The actors aren’t taking a paycut per episode, there will just be fewer episodes. Meanwhile, over on CBS, the casts of Blue Bloods and Bob ♥ Abishola did take around a 25% paycut to guarantee renewals. Times are tough for broadcast TV.
Pete Davidson insists that his dick is not that big. OK, but then why are half of the jokes in the trailer for his new show, Bupkis, about how huge his dick is? (See below in “Dates”.)
The upcoming Star Wars series The Acolyte will not necessarily be all positive about the Jedis. Brace yourself for the coming nerd meltdown.
Today was Ryan Seacrest’s final episode on Live … but it wasn’t actually live. BRING ON MARK CONSUELOS!
IndieWire has a good argument for how Logan can still win on Succession.
An opinion I can get behind: the head of ABC thinks that Agent Carter would have been a bigger hit if it had come out today. Bring it back on Disney+!
Tucker is going to interview Elon. Of course he is.
This is just delightful: y’all know I don’t like to write about sportsball, but United Airlines, which is headquartered in Chicago, has offered to fly Bulls player Demar Derozan’s daughter Diar to Miami for the playoff game there after she helped defeat the Toronto Raptors. She should be added to the roster:
Diar DeRozan deserved her own highlight reel tonight 🔥 pic.twitter.com/nUMNKrGtVQ
