The Writers Guild of America has written a letter sounding the alarm on President Shitler’s attack on a free press.

We don’t have a king, we have a president. And the president doesn’t get to pick what’s on television, in movie theaters, on stage, on our bookshelves, or in the news.

We call on our elected representatives and industry leaders to resist this overreach. We call on our audiences, on every single person ready to fight for a free and democratic future, to raise their voice.

LOL, President Narcissist tried to call into CNBC to brag about his … let me check … “high poll numbers,” but he forgot CNBC isn’t Fox News, and it didn’t exactly go the way he expected.

Disney+ will completely subsume Hulu by 2026. You’ll still be able to subscribe only to Hulu, or only to Disney+, but the standalone Hulu app will be phased out altogether, and become just another tile on Disney+.

ESPN’s stand-alone streaming service will launch on August 21st at a cost of $29.99 a month.

Oh, and Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ are going to stop reporting subscriber numbers, so butt out, Nosey.

Time to start speculating on the next season’s cast of Saturday Night Live. Reportedly, last season’s cast all know their fates by now, and have made their decisions to come back or not, and the search is on for new cast members.

Speaking of: Bill Hader was supposed to be in Andy Samberg’s SNL50 bit about everyone on SNL having anxiety, but he was too anxious.
