This is a (happy) rollercoaster ride:

Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Patrick Warburton’s mom hates Family Guy (which he’s a voice actor on) so much that she tried to get it cancelled — and might have been partially responsible for its first cancellation. I’m conflicted here because Mom is on the Parents Television Council who are a bunch of lunatics, but also I hate Family Guy? So, Team Mom? Kinda?
This is a list of Netflix’s craziest reality shows and by far and away, Sexy Beasts is the absolute craziest. It’s maybe not as crazy as Max’s Naked Attraction … although, come to think about it, in some ways, the two shows are the diametric opposites of each other.
Apparently, there was an idea floating around for a sequel to A Knight’s Tale that Sony pitched to Netflix, but after Netflix ran the idea through “its algorithms” they decided it wouldn’t be successful on the streamer and they didn’t move forward. I’m not invested in a sequel to A Knight’s Tale, I could care less, but I do want to understand how they run ideas through algorithms.
The new Doctor tells the racist, sexist, homophobic Doctor Who fans to “go find a hobby.” Good for him. Also, I genuinely don’t understand the people who are simultaneously Doctor Who fans and raging racists and sexists who fear change so much.
Will Meghan Trainor be your new Katy Perry?
Before clicking the clicky, can you guess which show Jerry Seinfeld feels had the best series finale? HINT: IT’S NOT SEINFELD.
A Game of Thrones prequel based on Queen Nymeria (which in turn is based on Moses) is still out there and available if HBO wants it.
LOL, Jesse Watters is an idiot:
Umm…well…hmm…you know you just described the crime. I don't understand what you don't understand about what you just said. https://t.co/gKXzxVTLjh

#MeToo
HEY, CAN WE TRY TO NOT BE INAPPROPRIATE WITH THE NUMBER 1 WNBA DRAFT PICK, GUYS? He says he’s sorry, but just … stop it.
Some of the Quiet on Set interviewees are mad that it was made for the ID Network and think it was a subject worthy of a “bigger” network … but the thing is, most people have watched in on Max, so what’s your point? Some interviewees allege that their trauma was exploited and the documentary got facts wrong.
Mayim Bialik adds that the most horrifying part of Quiet on Set is never shown: that it wasn’t just a Nickelodeon problem, it was a ubiquitous one.
Bryant Gumbel was “incredibly sexist” about Katie Couric taking a month off for maternity leave and this is my shocked face.
In the same interview with Couric, Bill Maher calls actors who won’t work with Woody Allen a bunch of “pussies” and I would like to know when we can stop caring what Bill Maher has to say about anything.
BBC newsreader Huw Edwards has resigned from the network after 40 years for “medical” reasons and definitely not because he was accused of paying a “young person” thousands of pounds for sexually explicit images.
Dominic West has finally come forward to corroborate Ruth Wilson’s criticisms of The Affair, where she felt she was being overly sexualized and didn’t feel safe while filming the series. And it’s shows like this why we have intimacy coordinators now.
Speaking of: Anne Hathaway recalls the early 2000s:
“Back in the 2000s — and this did happen to me — it was considered normal to ask an actor to make out with other actors to test for chemistry, which is actually the worst way to do it,” Hathaway said. “I was told, ‘We have ten guys coming today and you’re cast. Aren’t you excited to make out with all of them?’ And I thought, ‘Is there something wrong with me?’ because I wasn’t excited. I thought it sounded gross.”
Things aren’t all bad: according to Anna Gunn, some Breaking Bad fans are changing their minds about Skyler.
