MONDAY

The Crew: Kevin James stars in this new NASCAR workplace comedy, as an employee struggling to work under his less experienced female boss. This all sounds about right.  Series premiere. Netflix

American Experience: A look at the life of the extraordinary singer Marian Anderson, the first African-American to perform at the Metropolitan Opera and a civil rights activist. In 1939 the Daughters of the American Revolution refused to allow her to perform in Constitution Hall, so Eleanor Roosevelt arranged for a performance at the Lincoln Memorial 8 p.m., PBS

In Cold Blood: I would call this the movie/book that started the whole true crime movement, but truth be told, we’ve been obsessed with true crime since the beginning of time.  7 p.m., TCM

TUESDAY

Young Rock: As the Rock runs for President in 2032 (which at one point in the past, that itself would be a completely absurd sentence to write and the entire concept for a comedy in and of itself, but … ~gestures broadly at everything~), he reflects on his life and how he came to this moment in this new sitcom. Series premiere. P.S.: I would totally vote for The Rock. 7 p.m., NBC

Kenan: Kenan Thompson is a widowed father of twins who has his father-in-law, Don Johnson, move in with him in this new family comedy. Series premiere. 7:30 p.m., NBC

Big Sky: We are already at the season finale somehow. That went by fast. Finale. 9 p.m., ABC

The Black Church: Henry Louis Gates, Jr. takes us through the history of the American Black church, from the trans-Atlantic slave trade through the civil rights movement in this two-part series. Premiere. 8 p.m., PBS

Bad Habits, Holy Orders: In this new reality series, a group of five hard-partying women are sent to a convent for four weeks for a little spiritual guidance and detox. Series premiere.  Hulu

Temptation Island: Speaking of people who could use a little time in a convent … Season premiere. 9 p.m., USA

WEDNESDAY

Behind Her Eyes: A single mother has an affair with her boss, only to become friends with his wife in this psychological thriller. Premiere. Netflix

Amend: The Fight for America: Will Smith hosts this new series exploring the fight for equal rights in this country. Series premiere. Netflix

The Real Housewives of New Jersey: The ladies are back, and Teresa has a new man in her life. Season premiere. 8 p.m., Bravo

Good Trouble: Callie takes a job with a high-profile lawyer defense lawyer in the third season premiere. 9 p.m., Freeform

The Masked Dancer: A winner is crowned in the bloated two-hour season finale. 7 p.m., Fox

THURSDAY

It’s a Sin: In this five-part miniseries set in the eighties, a group of gay men and their friends live through the HIV crisis in the U.K. Series premiere. HBO Max

Tell Me Your Secrets: Lily Rabe stars in this thriller about three characters who are connected through dark, troubling pasts. Series premiere. Amazon

The Widower: Dateline examines the strange case of Thomas Randolph, an eccentric Las Vegas man who was accused of murdering at least one of his six wives (four of whom ended up dead) and the hitman he hired to kill her. (It’s a three-part series that will run tonight, Friday and Saturday.)  9 p.m., NBC
