Merry Christmas Eve, friends and fools! I am currently up to my elbows in Italian food, preparing for a giant family feast we host every year so this will have to be very brief. As you know, our government is taking the holiday season off thanks to President I Am Proud to Shut Down the Government because our lives are LITERALLY VEEP NOW.
Anyhoodles. There is not much TV news happening right now, aside from some bad news that NBC Universal decided to try to bury over the holidays:
Cancellations
- Midnight, Texas and Marlon have been canceled at NBC. It was a minor miracle that Midnight, Texas had seen a second season, though, so.
- Z Nation has been canceled after five seasons at Syfy. This is a bit of a bigger disappointment as the quirky zombie series had a bit of cult following. Sorry, guys.
Hope you’re having a better holiday than our federal employees and contractors, and the cast and crews of the shows above. I’ll see you in a more fulsome way on Wednesday. In the meantime, I hope Santa brings you everything you asked for!
