Happy Thanksgiving, TV peoples!
Because it’s a holiday, I’m going to skip the politics and TV news and just serve up a heaping serving of cute animals and TV suggestions.
But before I check out and go belly up at the two — TWO — Thanksgiving dinners I’m obligated to attend, I wanted to say what I am thankful for in this weird, difficult moment in history we are living through: I am obviously thankful for my friends and family, but I am also thankful for good health, the golden age of television and cute animal videos which help restore my mental health on some of these darker days.
And I also am thankful for all of you: I am thankful for those of you who check in on this blog everyday, and deeply thankful to the commenters who make me feel like I’m not just yelling into a void. It’s nice to know that there are other people out there who, like me, care about TV and maybe have a thought or two about the world we are living in — and how it’s being run. All y’all make me feel a little bit less alone, and for that I am grateful every day.
Alright. ONTO THE CUTE ANIMALS!
Here are some donkey nannies which is a thing that makes the world a little bit better:
This good doggo offers his reviews of different foods, which on a day like today is very helpful. STAY AWAY FROM THAT ROMAINE, YOU GUYS:
Here is a French Bulldog playing with a balloon:
And another dog who doesn’t need you anyway:
These two baby elephants at the San Diego Zoo are best friends:
This baby rhino learned how to jump and leap from his lamb buddy:
And watching this cow play fetch shouldn’t make you feel too guilty as you shouldn’t be eating beef today, anyway.
