Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News

Before we begin, keeping Eugene Mirman in our thoughts after the Bob’s Burgers star was in a horrific car crash on Tuesday. A huge thank you to the governor’s security detail, who happened to be there and pulled Mirman out of the burning car.

Noah Wylie addressed the absence of music on The Pitt, and it just makes sense:

“I think the most brilliant decision that we’ve done was Scott’s decision to take the music out of the show,” he told The Independent. “Because I’ve watched my own children as they watch television and, as soon as they hear strings, their attention wanes. As soon as they hear drums, their attention goes back to the screen.”

Wyle said when you strip something of an “audible indication on how to feel,” viewers become more curious “and have to look for clues within the frame.”

“They have to listen to the voices of the doctors to catch what the degree of severity is, and it’s a much less passive viewing experience.”

He continued: “It’s more rewarding in the long run if you’re leaned in, and sort of not knowing where the story’s gonna take you, as opposed to being sophisticated and jaded, and leaned back and disinterested.”

Of course, there was that one time music was in the show:

If you are a horror fan and have not yet watched Netflix’s Something Very Bad is Going to Happen, schedule it for this weekend. If you have watched it, here’s the creator answering all of your questions, especially about that ending. DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED THE SHOW. It’s just spoiler city in there, and I promise you want to go into this series knowing as little as possible; it’s such a fun ride.

Won’t you please hire Stephen Colbert’s staff?

They’re taking Euphoria to Coachella, which is on brand.

Donald Glover is making more promises about the Community movie. Wake me when it actually happens.

Important Kelly Ripa ass news. This is the week of ass news, I suppose.

Listen, this guy’s just got a thing for older women, and we are not going to make a big deal out of it, OK?

“The Real Housewives Of Rhode Island’ Cast: The Ultimate Guide To Telling These Women Apart.” Godspeed. Not my problem. (Unless I should dive back into this terrible world? Thoughts? Let me know in the comments.)

Whatever you do, don’t look at — or worse, share — this unflattering photo of Karoline Leavitt.

Congratulations to Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen!

Keep the Bigfoot community in your thoughts at this difficult time.
