Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
HAPPY THE BEAR DAY! Let’s celebrate with a bunch of links I’ve been saving up for this very moment:
Post by @youtubeView on Threads
- Here’s what you need to remember about the second season if you haven’t recently forced your college-aged kid to sit down and binge it with you this week.
- And yes, all 10 episodes will drop tonight at the same time (8/9 p.m.), so in theory you can watch all of them tonight. But should you? (For your own stress levels, probably not.)
@fentifriedchicken Yes, Chef TheBear JeremyAllenWhite
- You need to just stop shipping Carmy and Sydney already, it’s not going to happen. I keep telling you people that just because characters are of the opposite sex and are friends does not mean they need to have a romantic relationship and that in fact, it’s valuable in a very specific way to normalize platonic relationships between people but you just don’t listen. WHY WON’T YOU LISTEN?
- Also, you need to keep your hands to yourselves when it comes to Jeremy Allen White. And maybe stop screaming “COUSIN” at Ebon Moss-Bachrach. You’re embarrassing me.
- Ayo Edebiri is warning that episode 6 made her cry:

- This is a lot of words to say chefs are sexy because they feed us, and being fed is intimate, comforting and nurturing. I married my husband because he cooks for me — and cooks well — and there is simply nothing sexier in the world. Men: take note.
Chefs are hot because they’re like chemists who can use their magic to make your tummy happy

Y’all, this is a crisis: Vanna isn’t vibing with Ryan, and she’s thinking about leaving Wheel of Fortune.
Why didn't they make her the host and have some beefcake dude in short shorts turning the letters? https://t.co/X6pc40VYx5

Dish TV is offering the ad-supported Netflix tier for free to its subscribers.
HBO’s upcoming tentpole series, Lantern, Welcome to Derry, and the new Harry Potter series will all be branded as HBO originals instead of Max series. HUH. It’s almost as if “HBO” has value as a brand or something. Kinda like what everyone in the TV business has been SCREAMING AT YOU PEOPLE FOR THREE YEARS NOW.
NBC is going AI with its Olympic coverage and I do not approve.
A Scottish politician, George Galloway, is claiming that Fiona Harvey, the woman suing Netflix over Baby Reindeer, stalked him “relentlessly” and “physically” in the late 1980s. This is interesting in particular because the show said Martha had been convicted of stalking a politician before she turned her attention to Richard Gadd, though Fiona Harvey claims she was never charged with such a crime.
Things I learned recently: the actress who plays Prudence Featherington on Bridgerton, Bessie Carter, is the daughter of British acting royalty, Dolores Umbrage (Imelda Staunton) and Mr. Carson (Jim Carter). Not only that, but Prudence Featherington is dating Lord Debling in real life.
Mr. Show‘s Jay Johnston has pleaded guilty to participating in January 6th.
Oh, Drea de Matteo, no, honey.
My cousin who works in the entertainment business (on the movie side) was visiting recently and lamenting the state of the industry, noting that there aren’t a lot of projects in the works currently, in part because the IATSE has been the most recent union threatening to strike and bring productions to a halt. Fortunately, it sounds like they are close tor reaching an agreement with the studios, so hopefully a crisis will be averted, and studios will start greenlighting more projects with confidence.
Fox News is losing its mind:
