Here’s A BUNCH OF TV News
Once again for those in the back: the government can not punish you for trivializing the Holocaust; HOWEMEVER, a business can decline to hire you if you trivialize the Holocaust.
For the people who are upset that a fictional fireman is bisexual: lol, no one cares.
Charity is shopping for wedding dresses.
Someone has been posing as a producer on the Drew Barrymore Show and scamming people.
Oh, come on, Wheel of Fortune. This is not a “place.”
They’ve been pulling a fast one over on The Bold and the Beautiful: after “killing off” villainess Sheila Carter, it’s been revealed that she’s not dead at all. But I need you to read this paragraph even if you don’t — especially if you don’t — watch any soaps:
In the April 5 episode of the CBS daytime drama, the madwoman’s grieving fiancé Deacon Sharpe discovered that the corpse that was about to be cremated had 10 toes. He as well as regular viewers know that Sheila only had/has nine, what with her having cut one off in the summer of 2022 in order to convince the authorities that she’d been eaten by a bear.
Perfection.
The Lonely Island boys have a podcast with Seth Meyers, reliving each of their digital shorts.
Hoping Katya gets the help she needs and we are giving her props for being open about her struggle.
I’m not putting this under R.I.P. because I don’t wish that for him. But O.J. Simpson, the football star, TV and movie actor, wife abuser, and double murderer (acquitted — somehow) has died of cancer. It’s a more peaceful death than Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman were afforded. The double murders and subsequent trial unquestionably changed the media world forever — and not for the positive.
I do not have anything insightful to say about this man’s passing; certainly not anything gracious. But I do recommend that if you have not yet seen it, that you carve out some time to watch O.J.: Made in America, now streaming on Hulu. It is a brilliant and illuminating documentary, not just about O.J. Simpson, his career, and the murders, but about race and America itself during a turbulent moment. It won’t change your mind about who O.J. Simpson was, but you might learn more about what this country is.
I hope the families of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman can finally have some peace.
