First Assistant Director David Hills, the guy who handed Alec Baldwin the gun and told him it was “cold,” was fired from a previous film after a similar gun incident.

A prop master turned down the job on Rust because he was so concerned about the production cutting corners that might lead to safety issues, including wanting to hire one person to be both prop master and armorer.

“In the movies, the prep is everything. …You also need time to clean, inspect and repair guns,” he told the newspaper. “You need time to fix old clocks. In period films, you are sometimes using antiques. But here, there was absolutely no time to prepare, and that gave me a bad feeling.”

An actor on the film noted that the cameras were protected during gunfight scenes, but not the actors or crew members.

The release of Flint, a documentary narrated by Alec Baldwin, has been postponed indefinitely.

Ruby Rose left the starring role on Batwoman on The CW a while back, initially claiming an injury from a stunt gone wrong made it difficult to work. However, in an Instagram post last week, she opened the floodgates:

“Enough is enough,” Rose wrote in the post, tagging “Batwoman” showrunner Caroline Dries and Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter of the show’s production company Berlanti Productions. “I’m going to tell the whole world what really happened to me on that set. I will come for you so what happened to me never happens to another person again. And so I can finally take back my life and the truth. Shame on you.”

As for former WB TV President Peter Roth: “Not sure if you left after getting promoted to the highest position because you just couldn’t stop making young women steam your pants, around your crotch while you were still wearing said pants or if you left after putting a private investigator on me who you fired as soon as the report didn’t fit your narrative, either way, when it comes to you, there’s already an army waiting for u.”

She then came for her co-star Dougray Scott: “Dougray hurt a female stunt double, he yelled like a little bitch at women and was a nightmare. He left when he wanted and arrived when he wanted. He abused women and in turn as a lead of a show I sent an email asking for a no yelling policy, they declined.”

She accused the showrunner of only being on set four times and said she encouraged Rose to work with Roth’s private investigator before concluding: “please to my dear, dear fans stop asking if I will return to that awful show, I wouldn’t return for any amount of money nor if a gun were to my head..” Rose added. “NOR DID I QUIT. I DO NOT QUIT, They ruined Kate Kane and they destroyed batwoman, not me.”

OH. OK. WOW.

Warner Bros. TV responded with a “Nuh-uh.”

Despite the revisionist history that Ruby Rose is now sharing online aimed at the producers, the cast and crew, the network, and the Studio, the truth is that Warner Bros. Television had decided not to exercise its option to engage Ruby for season two of Batwoman based on multiple complaints about workplace behavior that were extensively reviewed and handled privately out of respect for all concerned.

They then followed up with this statement about Scott:

We condemn the comments made by Ruby Rose about Dougray Scott. Warner Bros. has found Mr. Scott to be a consummate professional, and never received any allegation against him of bullying, or of abusive behavior on his part. Mr. Scott was greatly respected and admired by his colleagues, and was a leader on the set.
