All Other TV News
After literally years of radio silence, we now know that Atlanta is expected to return on FX in the first half of 2022. I would prefer something a little more exact, but since we haven’t had any new episodes since 2018, at this point, I’ll take any news. And that Alien TV series from Noah Hawley that pissed conservatives off so much when he revealed the franchise is a criticism of big business and capitalism, it looks like it will debut in 2023.
As I’ve noted, we are in full Emmy voting season, so here, Eric Kripke, The Boys‘ showrunner talks about genre shows finally being recognized for awards, and being one of the most urgently political shows on TV. (If you are one of the three people who haven’t watched this series, it’s genius — if violent — and worth your time.)
Stranger Things is, in fact, going to end one day, but, like every successful series, spinoffs might be in the works. As for season four, here’s everything we know about it.
Speaking of spinoffs, Hulu is definitely interested in more Marvel shows.
The Lord of the Rings series is moving filming from New Zealand to the U.K. and Big Sky is moving pretty far from Big Sky country, leaving Vancouver for New Mexico.
People love them some Disney+.
Rachel Maddow is negotiating her contract with MSNBC.
The South Park guys did buy that Mexican restaurant with the cliff divers.
Debbie Allen, Houston hometown hero, will be awarded the Television Academy’s 2021 Governors Award.

We even added Paramount + because they have bonus episodes on it. She was mad because they weren’t showing all of the competitions on CBS.
At least the narrator is snarky and makes fun of the contestants
