Cannonball: I don’t know, it’s some sort of “water competition” hosted by The Miz — who I remember best from The Real World, but who apparently became a wrestler? Anyway, it is going to be on USA, but NBC is desperate for content ANY CONTENT and is debuting it here. 9 p.m., NBC

Homemade: A collection of short films made by acclaimed filmmakers during quarantine. Netflix

Welcome to Chechnya: A harrowing documentary about the purge of LGBT folks in Chechyna. 9 p.m., HBO

OWN Presents: Oprah and 100 Black Fathers: Oprah Winfrey sits down with 100 Black fathers, including Killer Mike, Courtney B. Vance, and Tyler Perry, to discuss how racism impacts their families’ lives. 9 p.m., OWN

WEDNESDAY

Unsolved Mysteries: It’s a reboot of the show that freaked you out as a kid! Series premiere. Netflix

Say I Do: A team of three wedding professionals give couples the weddings of their dreams on a Queer-Eye timetable. If you are a crier (NO JUDGMENT) this looks right up your alley. Series premiere. Netflix

Help, I Wrecked My House!: Here’s why you shouldn’t do-it-yourself: because the next thing you know, HGTV is in your house, shaming you. Series premiere 8 p.m., HGTV

Warrior Nun: Like Buffy the Vampire Slayer but with nuns. Or something. Series premiere. Netflix

Enemy of the State The Conversation: So, the Will Smith movie, Enemy of the State is on HBO, but instead of watching that, you should watch the movie that inspired it, Francis Ford Coppola’s The Conversation. Enemy of the State: 4:45 p.m., HBO; The Conversation: Amazon Prime

The Black Stallion: CHILDHOOD NOSTALGIA INCOMING. 7 p.m., TCM

FRIDAY

Hamilton: Happy birthday, America! Stay home and watch this weekend instead of looking for fireworks, PLEASE. Premiere. Disney+

Ju-On: Origins: The Korean movie and film series that The Grudge was based on is being turned into a TV series. Prepare to be creeped out. Series premiere. Netflix

Hanna: Season two. Amazon

The Baby-Sitters Club: I am a decade or two too old for this series, but from what I understand, the kids are Very Excited about this one. Series premiere. Netflix

SATURDAY

Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular: This might look a little different this year. 7 p.m., NBC

A Capitol Fourth 2020: Hopefully, this will too. 7 p.m., PBS

Midway: Nick Jonas and Mandy Moore star in this movie about the Battle of Midway. It is preceded by Flags of Our Fathers if you want to make it into a little World War II movie marathon. (Fun Therese Fact: Before I was a Very Fancy Blogger, I worked on Flags of Our Fathers, the book that was optioned into the movie by Clint Eastwood.) 7 p.m., HBO

SUNDAY

America: Our Defining Moments: A three-part miniseries about the defining moments in American history, including: the Mayflower, the Civil War, and 9/11. I can’t help but feel like they’re going to need to go back and do an entire episode on 2020 one day. Series premiere. 8 p.m., History

Outcry: This is a new investigative documentary series. The first episode examines the case of a Texas high-school football star who was wrongfully convicted of sexually assaulting a minor. Series premiere. 9 p.m., Showtime

Desus & Mero: It’s moving times so as to go head-to-head with Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Good luck, guys! 10 p.m., Showtime
