Someone has some regrets about leaving ‘The Walking Dead’ now that it’s good again. ~sad trombone here~

Andrew Lincoln realizes he left The Walking Dead at the wrong time. (Or, alternatively, letting go of Rick allowed the show to shed some weight and take the story in a new, refreshing direction.)

And you’re not the only one who sensed a little something-something between Daryl and Connie.

This is a decent roundup of where we left off and where we are going with Game of Thrones from TV Guide‘s sister site, TV Insider. The full article is in the recent TV Guide which features Game of Thrones on their cover:

“This season we see more of Brienne than ever before,” says Gwendolyn Christie. So does that mean she survives the Battle of Winterfell?

Game of Thrones’ safe word revealed.

Look, I don’t know what Mountain Dew and Arya Stark have to do with each other, but if you’re looking for a copy of her list, they’ve got you covered. For some reason.

Oh, you got an EGOT? That’s nice. But Rita Moreno is about to become only the third person to ever become a PEGOT, so bow down, bitches.

The milage will vary for your feelings about last night’s series finale of Broad City depending on how much you liked the show and how much time you’ve spent in your twenties living in New York — and then leaving New York, but for yours truly, I found myself an emotional wreck. Anyway, it could have had a goofier ending, but I’m so glad and relieved it did not.

Kayla Cromer, the star of the upcoming Freeform series Everything’s Gonna Be Okay, revealed that she is on the autism spectrum. Her character on the series is also autistic.

May 14 is going to be a long day for your trusty blogger.

If you have a Roku or Amazon TV, you can now spend money on Epix Now.

Reminder: Veep returns this weekend.

It’s amazing how Meghan McCain manages to make everything about her father — it’s like a magic trick.

More actors are coming out against the abortion bill in Georgia, vowing to not work on projects there if the bill goes through. And George Clooney is calling for a boycott of hotels owned by the Sultan of Brunei whose country just wrote into law that gayness will be punishable by death by stoning or whipping. It should be noted that the Sultan of Brunei owns The Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air, two of Hollywood’s most fabulous and famous hotels where fancy Hollywood types like to hold events and meetings and such.

Speaking of the LGBTQ community, the GLAAD Media Awards were last night, and Queer Eye, Vida, and Love, Simon took the top honors. Also, BeyoncĂ© and Jay-Z were given the Vanguard Award. Jay-Z dedicated his to his mother, and BeyoncĂ© to her gay uncle who suffered from HIV. She ended the speech on an upbeat note, however: “LGBTQI rights are human rights. To choose who you love is your human right. How you identify and see yourself is your human right. Who you make love to and take that ass to Red Lobster is your human right.”

Before they accepted their awards, they were treated to a SEVEN-MINUTE LONG lip sync tribute to BeyoncĂ© by RuPaul’s Drag Race‘s Shangela which was AMAZONG:

Jussie Smollett update: Chicago is coming after Smollett for $130,000 to cover the overtime costs for the investigation into his case. If he refuses to pay up, they are willing to sue — in which case his attack case will be fully litigated in civil court, giving the cops and Mayor Emanuel the day in court they were so angry they were denied. Stay tuned.

  1. “The cast of #GameOfThrones is gracing our 4 collectible covers
” Good for TV Guide, but in the promo pic they show all four covers, and the view they give of Tyrion’s has his head cut off. TVG is either thoughtless or knows something.
