A bunch of season finales this week, but obviously the most important is ‘Atlanta,’ and everything else you don’t want to miss on TV this week

MONDAY

A Dangerous Son: A heartbreaking look at mental illness in children and how our society is failing these families.  7 p.m., HBO

E! Live from the Red Carpet: The 2018 Met Gala: Fancy people in fancy costumes! 5:30 p.m., E!

Kevin Can Wait: Kevin is talked into getting the band back together in the season finale. 7 p.m., CBS

Running Wild with Bear Grylls: Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays wilderness man with Bear Grylls in the season premiere.  9 p.m., NBC

TUESDAY

Lethal Weapon: A threat is made on Riggs’ life in the season finale. 7 p.m., Fox

Bull: Bull’s team races to try to save their client from the death penalty in the season finale.  7 p.m., CBS

New Girl: Nick’s plan to propose is thrown off, again, in back-to-back episodes. 8 p.m., Fox

WEDNESDAY

Chicago P.D.: Woods looks to take Voight down once and for all in the season finale. 9 p.m., NBC

The Real Housewives of New York: Dorinda does her best to slur her way out of an invitation to Puerto Rico. 8 p.m., Bravo

NOVA Wonders: ROBOTS. SMART WAR ROBOTS. BE ALARMED. 8 p.m., PBS

THURSDAY

Atlanta: The description of the episode is: “Going where the money goes is important, but it’s hard when something holds a person back.” So I’m guessing this will be about Earn and Paper Boi’s complicated relationship. Season finale OF THE BEST SHOW ON TELEVISION RIGHT NOW. 9 p.m., FX

Safe: Micahel C. Hall — who is not British — plays a British dad who is looking for his missing daughter in this new thriller series. Series premiere. Netflix

The Big Bang Theory: The big wedding finale. 7 p.m., CBS

Young Sheldon: Sheldon interferes in Meemaw’s love life in the season finale. 7:30 p.m., CBS

Mom: Christy falls back in to bad habits in the one-hour season finale 8 p.m., CBS

Chicago Fire: Boden’s chances for promotion are complicated in the season finale. 8 p.m., NBC

Motherland: A new comedy about motherhood from the creator of Catastrophe. Season premiere. Sundance Now

FRIDAY

Evil Genius: Remember that weird story where someone strapped a bomb around the neck of a pizza delivery guy and then forced him to rob a bank for them? The Duplass Brothers made a documentary series about it, and if it is as good as Wild Wild Country, it will be worth watching. Premiere. Netflix

The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle: Yes, Moose and Squirrel are back. Series premiere. Amazon

All Night: A teen comedy about some high school seniors on “grad night.” This looks like typical teen comedy material, but I can’t help but think about John Mulaney’s bit about how so many song lyrics are about how “tonight is the night” and “we only have tonight” and what 19-year-old garbage that is because I am an old woman. Hulu

Dynasty: An unexpected guest at Sammy Jo and Steven’s wedding causes all hell to break loose in the season finale. 7 p.m., The CW

Blue Bloods: A group of six men are released from prison after being found innocent and things happen. Season finale. 9 p.m., CBS

SATURDAY

Patrick Melrose: Benedict Cumberbatch stars in this dramedy about a self-destructive man-child. 8 p.m., Showtime

Saturday Night Live: Amy Schumer & Kacey Mulgraves. 10:30 p.m., NBC

Dunkirk: Christopher Nolan’s film about the evacuation of Dunkirk before the Nazis could arrive and kill everyone and hey, remember when we all agreed that Nazis were bad? 8 p.m., HBO

SUNDAY

Silicon Valley: Richard receives unsettling news in the season finale. 9:15 p.m., HBO

Barry: Barry vows to live the life of crime in the season finale. Yeah, we’ll see how that goes. 9:45 p.m., HBO

Timeless: All we know is that the two episodes that make up the finale are titled “The General” and “Chinatown.” So, you know, fuhgeddabodit, Jake. 8 p.m., NBC

Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance: The big day is May 19, until then we will have to settle for this Lifetime pre-enactment. 7 p.m., Lifetime

The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale: Season finale. Netflix
