Wait, did Friday just become a good night for television?

Here’s a thing I never thought I’d say, but this fall Friday nights look better than Monday nights. What madness is this?

Over on The CW, Jane the Virgin is joining Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, both of which are amazing shows that YOU SHOULD BE WATCHING, DAMMIT. The Exorcist returns to Friday nights on Fox. ABC has moved Once Upon a Time to Fridays to join new series Marvel’s Inhumans, (which I am not going to watch, frankly). And NBC is bulking up their Fridays by moving Blindspot to anchor the 7 p.m. hour.

Personally, I’m only going to be watching Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Jane the Virgin, and The Exorcist, but there is no shortage of decent shows no matter what your personal preference.

Saturday nights, however, remain a wasteland so we have some assurances that there is still some stability in the universe.

Here are Friday and Saturday’s fall schedules. New series are highlighted in pink:

  1. Jane the Virgin, check. Hawaii Five-0, check. Definitely looks like it’ll be a great night for TV. Plus, it’s weekend so that counts for like a double check haha. Loving your blog by the way.
